Anyone ever play a card game called Horse collar? If so, remember the rules?
I know we dealt five cards to each player and the dealer (deal passed to the left each round) flips up the top card and its suit becomes trump. Then you choose to play or pass starting to the dealers left, but at least two people have to play each round. You could discard up to 3 cards and each trick would taken would subtract one from your starting total of 21, but if you stayed in and didn’t take a trick you were “horsecollared” and added 5 to your score. The dealer was allowed to take the flipped up card during his/her discard. You had to follow suit during each trick and Aces were high down to twos. I can’t remember if that is all of the rules and if you had to land on zero points exactly to win. Anyone ever play this card game and have/know the rules? Thanks.
